Excited to announce Fathom!
We started Fathom with the goal of building a vessel management system from first principles.
To us it was clear that existing solutions are daunting, bloated and overly elaborate.
There is already enought complexity in running a modern vessel (not to metion a fleet). Compliance obligations, crew duties, maintenance schedules, and safety requirements have all grown enormously and yet the tools most operators rely on have not kept pace.
Secondly, there is a clear need for a soverign vessel management platform in Australia. Fathom is built here, hosted here, and designed around the regulatory and operational reality of running vessels in Australian waters.
